Gidda

I am going to tell you about Indian dance Gidda. Gidda is a folk dance like other Indian dances. This is very much an affair of the legs and hands. It is like a circle dance. There is group of girls make a circle and each time two girls sing a song, and dance in the middle. I like Gidda. I usually do this dance in some family function. But I cannot do very well. This dance is very interesting. I attached the video. Please see it………………..!

  1. I really enjoyed the video! The dance is so long. How do the dancers keep moving for such a long time? The clothing is beautiful! Does the dance tell a story? Are there different kinds of dancing in the different parts of India? What language is the song in?

  2. The song is about small different stories. As you know India is a very big and most divers country. It has 28 states; more than 400 languages are spoken there. Every state has its own dance. The song is in Punjabi language.
